This machine recently arrived from a local collector, and has serviced and test-sewn.   The mechanism turns freely and sews both straight and zigzag stitches just fine.  It is mounted in a Singer treadle stand fitted with an abrievated and painted surplus top from a Singer Model 88 "Cosmopolitan" electric cabinet.  The unit has been assembled specifically for use in a small area such as a sales booth or other small venue where electricity is either costly or non-existant.  It would be excellent for use in a Crafter's Show Booth.  The head is quickly and easily removable from the stand for portability.  This item is "Pickup Only" at our store in Frederick, OK.  Shipping not available.
